Apparently a somewhat esoteric accessory, sets of 25 tuned jingles were a relatively frequent addition to the complement of theatre organ percussions. They were almost always equipped with reiterating contacts, providing a prodigious jangle for Christmas music.
Lesser instruments had to make do with a single jingle, playable from the Accompaniment manual.
