The brand name of the Rudolph Wurlitzer Manufacturing Company. Their theatre organs were built in North Tonawanda, New York state. 

Their involvement in theatre organs began in the 1900's with a partnership with Englishman Robert Hope-Jones, and they developed the Hope-Jones Unit Orchestra concept into a marketable product, of which over 2,200 were delivered worldwide. Around 100 found their way to the UK and Ireland.
